VANCOUVER, BC – After a dominant midweek victory over Montreal Impact, Vancouver Whitecaps FC return to BC Place on Saturday to host Minnesota United FC in a battle between two teams fighting for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Saturday’s match will also mark the club’s annual Pride Night.

Welcome home: Vancouver’s Homegrown Hero Alphonso Davies is expected to be involved after his MLS record-breaking transfer to FC Bayern Munich, whom he will join in 2019.


Playoff push: The ‘Caps trail Minnesota by just two points in the Western Conference standings, with both teams fighting for the final playoff spot in the West.


Containing Quintero: After posting a clean sheet in Wednesday’s Canadian Championship victory over Montreal, Vancouver’s back line will look to shut down Colombian forward Darwin Quintero, who has three goals and four assists in his last three matches.
