Whitecaps FC add Salvadoran international defender Roberto Domínguez

Welcome Roberto

VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Friday the addition of Salvadoran international centre back Roberto Domínguez.

Domínguez, 21, has agreed to an MLS contract for the remainder of 2018, with club options through 2021. He will occupy an international roster spot and officially join the club's roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate, work permit, and medical examinations.

In June, the defender participated in a week-long trial in Vancouver and prior to the close of the international transfer window on August 8, Domínguez and Santa Tecla FC mutually agreed to terminate his contract. Domínguez is scheduled to arrive in Vancouver on Saturday.
