Alphonso Davies (W)

It’s been a breakout year for Alphonso Davies. The 17-year-old Canadian, who will join Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich in the new year, leads Whitecaps with 11 assists and is third on the team with six goals. He also has a league-high 113 dribbles completed and 237 duels won.

Kei Kamara (F)

Kei Kamara has been a true leader for Whitecaps FC in his first season with the club – both on and off the field. The 34-year-old striker has directly contributed to more goals than any other ‘Caps player in MLS play this season, including a team-high 13 goals to go along with five assists. He also scored in each of his three Canadian Championship appearances.

Yordy Reyna (M/F)

Yordy Reyna has been one of Vancouver’s most dangerous offensive weapons this season, having scored five goals and recorded nine assists – the second most on the team – in MLS play and an additional goal in the Canadian Championship. The Peruvian has also created 15 big chances for his teammates, which tops Whitecaps FC and is tied for second most in MLS.

Cristian Techera (W)

It’s been a career year for Cristian Techera, whose eight goals are the second most on the team and his highest total in an MLS season. The 5-foot-2 Uruguayan also has one assist. The ‘Caps are unbeaten whenever Techera finds the scoresheet this season (5W-0L-2D).

Russell Teibert (M)

Russell Teibert has established himself as a key cog to the ‘Caps midfield in 2018. The 25-year-old Canadian leads Whitecaps FC with an 87.4% passing accuracy and has recorded a pair of assists, while playing an important role in linking the team’s defence to its attack. The ‘Caps are 7W-3L-3D when Teibert starts in MLS play this season.

Kendall Waston (CB)

Kendall Waston has once again been a major presence for Whitecaps FC at both ends of the pitch. The Costa Rican centre back, who this summer became the first active ‘Caps player to play and score in a FIFA World Cup, leads the team with 24 blocks and 120 clearances. He’s also contributed offensively with three goals and two assists.
