Whitecaps FC Academy forward Thomas Raimbault has been called up to the New Zealand U-20 men’s national team for a camp in Auckland this week.
The camp will be used to select players for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland starting on May 23.
So far during the Development Academy season, Raimbault has scored five goals in 15 appearances, as well as making three appearances with the Whitecaps FC Development Squad.
Raimbault previously played with New Zealand U-17 national team when he was called up in 2017. He joined the Whitecaps FC Academy in 2018 after his family moved to Vancouver. The forward formerly spent time in the Wellington United Academy.
