Jasmine Mander named to Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards

Whitecaps FC BMO Academy System coach Jasmine Mander has been recognized by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) in Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards.

Mander was selected in the Arts, Sports & Entertainment category for women who have shaped Canadian thinking, communications and culture.

“I am incredibly honoured to be recognized among such accomplished and engaged women in this category,” said Mander. “I have been greatly supported throughout my coaching career at both a club and provincial level and I look forward to continuing to be inspired by the WXN community."


The native of Delta, BC has been coaching in the
Whitecaps FC BMO Academy System
since 2014. During her playing career, she excelled in the Whitecaps FC Girls Elite program before going on to captain the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she won the 2015 CIS National Championship.

In addition to her coaching with Whitecaps FC, Mander is also a coach educator for BC Soccer and serves on the BC Soccer Diversity and Inclusion committee. Read more about Mander and Canada’s Most Power Women award winners here: https://wxnetwork.com/page/2020Top100Winners


Despite not being able to hold a formal event this year due to the pandemic, WXN found a creative way to honour Mander and her fellow recipients.

“They reached out in November, and they have really done an extraordinary job of making us feel special,” added Mander. “In place of the traditional gala this year, they sent us a box each day from December 1 to 3, including a champagne brunch, at home spa kit, and a dinner and trophy on the final day.”
