In 15 matches this year (in all competitions), Robinson has now used 15 different starting XIs.

Goalkeeper David Ousted will be making his 61st consecutive MLS start, including playoffs, with the club. Homegrown midfielder Kianz Froese, who joined the Whitecaps FC Residency program in September 2012, makes his first start in MLS regular season play. The 19-year-old, who spent a large part of his youth in Manitoba, becomes the fifth Homegrown player and third Residency graduate to start for Whitecaps FC in MLS regular season action.

Midfielder Mauro Rosales returns to the XI after suffering a right quad strain early in the home match against Philadelphia Union on May 9. Tonight will be the first time this season the 34-year-old Argentine has started as the 'Caps number 10.

Striker Octavio Rivero has started every MLS regular season match so far this season. The 23-year-old Uruguayan is tied for third in MLS in goals (6) and second in both shots (43) and shots on goal (20).
