Vancouver Whitecaps FC are aware that a 72-hour strike notice has been served by BC Place employees who are represented by BCGEU. The club is in close communication with PavCo and remain optimistic that the BCGEU and Pavco will reach an agreement, and that our October 22 match will take place as scheduled at BC Place. Vancouver Whitecaps FC will continue to monitor the situation and will update fans in a timely manner.
Saturday October 22 is an important day for the club as it’s the last match of our inaugural season in Major League Soccer, and we look forward to celebrating Fan Appreciation Day with our fans.
