VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC (5W-3L-3D) are set to continue their road stretch this week with two key Western Conference clashes. First up, the 'Caps head to Mile High City to take on Colorado Rapids (5W-4L-3D) on Wednesday, May 15. Kickoff from Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado is set for 6:30 p.m. PT.

Saturday's match will mark the 30th MLS meeting between the 'Caps and Colorado. It is also the first of two meetings between the two teams this season.

SLOW DOWN THE RAPIDS: Vancouver Whitecaps FC continue their May road stretch with back-to-back Western Conference clashes this week. First on the docket is a showdown with Colorado Rapids on Wednesday, May 15 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The 'Caps claimed a 2-2 draw in their last visit to the Mile High City, thanks to Mathías Laborda's first MLS goal and a header from Brian White. In fact, Vancouver has posted a 3W-1L-3D record in their last seven matches in Colorado. Midfielder Ralph Priso will also be facing his former team on Saturday.

FOR CASCADIA: The 'Caps will then shift their focus to the Pacific Northwest as they get set for their second meeting of the season against rivals Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday, May 18 at Lumen Field. The Blue and White sit atop of the Cascadia Cup standings with a 2W-0L-0D record thanks to a 3-2 victory over Portland Timbers at the end of March and a 2-0 win at Seattle just under a month ago. Seattle won 2-1 at Portland on Sunday and have moved into second place with a 1W-1L-0D Cascadia Cup record. The 'Caps are looking to win back-to-back Cascadia Cups for the first time since 2013 and 2014.
