HOME COOKIN': Following a mid-week Canadian Championship win over Valour FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC will resume MLS play on Saturday against Western Conference opponents San Jose Earthquakes in their third consecutive home match. Dating back to last season, the 'Caps have tallied a 10W-2L-2D record in their last 14 matches at BC Place across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and keeping six clean sheets.

HOUSEKEEPING: In their five home matches across all competitions this season, the Blue and White have kept clean sheets in four of those matches, while only giving up a total of three goals. Across that span, 18 different players have started those matches, showing the 'Caps depth and echoing head coach Vanni Sartini's message that the team is the leader.

BUSY MAY: After Saturday's match, Vancouver will once again host a mid-week match at BC Place next Wednesday, May 18 against FC Dallas before travelling to Carolina to face expansion side Charlotte FC on Sunday, May 22. The 'Caps will then travel to Calgary to face Canadian Premier League side Cavalry FC in the quarter-finals of the Canadian Championship between May 24-26 and will wrap up the month with an away match against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, May 28.
