Saturday will mark the 35th all-time meeting between the 'Caps and RSL. It is the second and final meeting of the regular season between the two teams, with Vancouver claiming a 2-1 victory at BC Place over the Claret and Colbalt at the start of the month.

ROAD 'CAPS: Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to play their 11th match away from BC Place this year on Saturday when they visit Western Conference foes Real Salt Lake. After suffering a last minute defeat in San José, Costa Rica to open 2025, Vancouver are undefeated in 10 on the road, including two trips to Mexico and one to South Florida in Concacaf Champions Cup action, as well as MLS games in Oregon, Texas twice, Ontario, Missouri and Minnesota, and lastly a trip to Winnipeg in Canadian Championship play. The team has posted a record of 4W-0L-6D, with 18 goals scored and four clean sheets in that span. In fact, in MLS play, the 'Caps have only allowed two goals in six games away from home.

D-FENCE: There's been plenty of offensive highlights to pick from this year. But one of the most impressive parts of the 'Caps start to the season has been their defensive prowesss. The Blue and White have allowed the fewest shots on target against in MLS play at 40, are tied for the best goals against record having only allowed 10 in 13 games, hold the lowest expected goals against at 13.8, and are tied for the second most shutouts with six heading into Matchday 15. The 'Caps defensive play has also led to a club-record 13-match unbeaten streak across all competitions and an eight-match unbeaten streak in MLS play, which is tied for their second-longest unbeaten run in MLS play.

BUSY WEEK AHEAD: Following their match against Real Salt Lake, Whitecaps FC will quickly shift their focus towards a crucial mid-week six-pointer against Minnesota United FC on Wednesday, May 28 at BC Place. Minnesota, who are in action at home against Austin FC in Matchday 15, currently sit second in the Western Conference with a 7W-3L-4D record, three points behind the 'Caps in first place. The match will mark the second meeting of the season between the two teams, as Vancouver clinched a 3-1 away win over the Loons back in April. The Blue and White will then head to Mexico as they look to make history in the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup Final against Cruz Azul on Sunday, June 1. By the end of the week, the 'Caps will have played five matches (four of them away) across 16 days.
