VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC (5W-2L-3D) will look to continue their strong road form as they face Western Conference foes Los Angeles FC (4W-4L-3D) this Saturday, May 11 in the first meeting between the two sides since facing each other in the 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs. Kickoff from BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California is set for 7:30 p.m. PT.

Saturday will mark the 18th all-time meeting between the two teams and the first of three meetings this season. Along with their two MLS regular season clashes this year, the teams will also meet in Leagues Cup 2024 action.

ROAD WARRIORS: With their next three matches coming on the road, Vancouver Whitecaps FC will be looking to build on their unbeaten 3W-0L-1D away record in MLS play this Saturday as they face Los Angeles FC at BMO Stadium. Vancouver, who is the only unbeaten Western Conference team on the road, has conceded the least goals away from home with two and have the league's best goal differential on the road with +6. In addition, the Blue and White hold the second best road record in MLS since June 24, 2023 with a 7W-3L-4D record. Saturday's match will mark the first meeting between the two teams since facing each other in the 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs.

CANADA'S FINEST: The 'Caps kicked off their 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship campaign on Tuesday by claiming a 2-1 victory over Canadian Premier League side Cavalry FC in the first leg of their quarterfinal match-up at ATCO Field. Levonte Johnson scored a brace, including a thunderous strike from distance in the first half. The Blue and White are aiming to win three consecutive Voyageurs Cups for the first time, having defeated Toronto FC in a penalty shootout in 2022 and running it back in 2023 with a 2-1 victory over CF Montréal. The 'Caps will host the second leg of the quarterfinals at BC Place on Tuesday, May 21.
