Making save after save, this 'Caps goalkeeper from Quebec enjoys taking in the beauty of nature and listening to all types of music.

In this edition of Quality Time, presented by GE Appliances, we hear from Maxime Crepeau.

What’s your hometown known for?

I'm from Quebec and we're known for poutine.

What’s one thing that reminds you of home?

The snow and bonfires.

What do you love most about Vancouver?

The outdoors, nature, and the views.

If you had to swap places with a teammate for a day, who would you choose?

Ali Adnan, I want to know what he does daily.

There’s a zombie apocalypse and you can choose three teammates to help you survive it. Who are you picking?

Boehmer, Adnan because he’s crazy, and Baldi because he looks like a fun guy to go with.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation.

Describe your dream home.

We had it in Montreal. Nice family household, nice backyard with a lot of land, bedroom for the kids, nice playground in the basement. Nice BBQ and kitchen set-up outside and a good driveway.

What do you think you will do once your playing days are over?

I am interested in the PR and media world.

What’s your favourite genre of music?

Goes from techno, to rock, country, French rap.

What’s your favourite movie?

Any movie with action.

Describe your dream vacation.

It’s been so long, I miss going anywhere in the world with a beach. Feet in the sand, listening to the waves, and enjoying mentally checking out.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

My family reminds me ‘patience is a virtue’ because I am not patient. On the field, it's one ball at a time.

When you’re not in your uniform, what do you dress like?

I used to not care but it got better a year ago. Now, I am casual – jeans and a sweater in the winter, and shorts and sneakers in the summer.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

I say good morning to my wife Cristina, and Diego our Golden Doodle.

Describe the worst haircut you’ve ever had.

Long hair because my hair is so straight that when it grows long, it looks like a palm tree.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Brunch, mix it up!

What would the title of your autobiography be?
Who Would’ve Known?
What’s the strangest job you’ve ever had?

I’ve never worked in my life – I started in the academy very young.

What is your cellphone wallpaper?

Locked screen is an ultra sound of the baby. Unlocked wallpaper, it’s Cristina and Diego the dog.

What’s the quirkiest thing about you?

I’m a goalkeeper so I am crazy, I’m normal as a person but when I am on the pitch, it’s different. You need to be special to be a goalkeeper but I am a happy one.

What’s your go-to dance move in the club?

I keep it low key, and I need some friends to push me to dance. I’m not the greatest dancer but if it’s a great night out, I have plenty of dance moves.

Up next for Crépeau and the ‘Caps is an all-Canadian daytime clash against the visiting CF Montreal on Saturday, May 8. Kickoff at Rio Tinto Stadium is set for 12 p.m. PT, live on CTV, TSN, and AM730.
