Kid Captain

Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Aaryan Sidhu from Yorkson Creek Middle School as Kid Captain for Saturday's match versus Real Salt Lake.

Aaryan has had a deep passion for soccer from the age of five. As a Langley United player, he has been able to take this passion into school with the annual Nutsamat Cup event, leading his classmates with energy, enthusiasm and drive. Aaryan wrote an impressive memoir this year which highlighted his class’ championship at the cup event. He shared his ability to bring people together in the true spirit of the Nutsamat Cup which translates to “one heart, one mind” in the Hunk-amee-num language. He works to ensure that his classmates believe in themselves, which defines the true spirit of team sports.

Please join in welcoming Aaryan to the match!

Supporters of the Match

Saturday's Supporters of the Match will be Matt Turpin from the Southsiders.

Matt has been following the 'Caps for 10 years, and a member of the Southsiders for over a year. His favourite memory is seeing the 'Caps win the Canadian Championship. His favourite part of being a supporter is being a part of the family and being welcomed to cheer Whitecaps FC to victory.
