Thomas Hasal called up to Canada's men's national team for pre-World Cup training camp in Bahrain

VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC goalkeeper Thomas Hasal has been called up to Canada's men's national team for November's training camp in Bahrain in preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

Hasal, 23, left Vancouver this morning and is set to participate in his first senior camp.

The week-long camp will see Canada face Bahrain at Al-Khalifa Stadium in Arad, Bahrain on Friday, November 11, with kick off set for 7:30 a.m. PT.

The match will be broadcast live on OneSoccer, available as a linear channel on Telus’s Optik TV (Channel 980) as well as online at OneSoccer.ca, through the OneSoccer app and on the fuboTV Canada platform.

This past season, Hasal tallied a career-high 17 starts across all competitions this season for the 'Caps, recording a total of four clean sheets.

A product of the Whitecaps FC Saskatchewan Academy Centre, Hasal has previously represented Canada at the U-18, U-20 and U-23 levels.
