“It’s been an exciting week as we prepare for the first season of WFC2,” said Whitecaps FC president Bob Lenarduzzi. “We now have a head coach, we’ve welcomed local players to register for our open tryout, we have our schedule, and today we’re thrilled to officially launch season ticket sales. We’re eagerly anticipating the start of the season at Thunderbird Stadium.”
A unique and affordable experience, WFC2 Season Ticket Memberships start at $118 – just $8 per match – for current Whitecaps FC MLS Season Ticket Members, Supporters group members, and the UBC Campus community including residents, students, staff, alumni, and faculty. Fans who register now will also become members of the WFC2 Starting 11, recognizing the first 1,100 WFC2 Season Ticket Members with exclusive rewards and experiences.
UBC will be offering WFC2 Season Ticket Members an exclusive deal on pre-purchased parking packages, only $2 per match. This deal provides an approximate savings of $70 across the season.
In addition to season tickets, a limited supply of family packs are also available, starting at $199 – as little as $3 per person each match! Each family pack includes Season Ticket Memberships for up to four kids under the age of 12, with options for either one or two adults.
Included among the ‘Caps matches at Thunderbird Stadium this season will be the much anticipated home opener against Canadian nemesis Toronto FC II, as well as four home matches against Cascadia rivals with two each versus Seattle Sounders FC 2 and Portland Timbers 2. The ‘Caps will also host fellow MLS rival clubs LA Galaxy II and Real Monarchs SLC, as well as defending USL PRO champions Sacramento Republic FC.
