Teibert, 21, joined Whitecaps FC’s Residency program during its second year of existence in 2008 and has been a member of the club ever since. After spending two plus years within the club’s developmental setup, the Niagara Falls, Ontario native signed a Homegrown contract prior to the start of Vancouver’s inaugural MLS season in 2011.

His breakout season earned him a 10th-place ranking in the league’s annual 24 under 24 series.

More recently, Teibert captained Whitecaps FC during their two Amway Canadian Championship matches in May 2014 and was named to the 20-man roster that will take part in the 2014 Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game on August 4 in Portland.
