VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that the club has re-signed striker Caleb Clarke. Per Major League Soccer and club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
“We are excited to have Caleb returning next season,” said Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson. “Caleb is a hard-working young Canadian with a lot of potential. He’s been with the club for a number of years and we look forward to continuing to work with him."

Clarke, who had been playing overseas with German Bundesliga club FC Augsburg II on a year-long loan, returned to Vancouver in May to repair a ruptured quadriceps muscle. Clarke scored eight goals in 26 matches last season before suffering the injury in training.
The 20-year-old Richmond, BC, native made his Whitecaps FC MLS debut on August 15, 2012, coming on as second half substitute against FC Dallas at BC Place. Clarke also made a substitute appearance against Chivas USA on October 3, 2012. The Homegrown striker has been with the organization since joining Whitecaps FC Residency in 2009, making him the second longest tenured player at the club.
