The Vancouver Whitecaps FC family has a new member.
On Wednesday morning, defender Jordan Harvey and his wife Kim Caldwell welcomed their first child into the world: a baby girl named Harlow Monroe Harvey (pictured above).
Harlow was born just after 9:30 a.m. in Vancouver. Later that evening, Harvey started for Whitecaps FC as they clinched a playoff berth in a scoreless draw with FC Dallas.
After the match, you couldn’t wipe the smile off the new father’s face.
“Amazing experience,” Harvey told reporters. “Your perspective changes quite a bit after something like that. Coming into this game, I was just enjoying every moment.”
