VANCOUVER, BC -
Vancouver Whitecaps FC are mourning the loss of Brandon Bassi, who has passed away at the age of 19 following a tragic car accident last week.
Brandon was a beloved member of the soccer community in the Lower Mainland, spending time with the Whitecaps FC Academy, Coastal FC, Central City Breakers FC, and most recently wrapping up his freshman year with the Simon Fraser University men’s soccer team.
He was a leader both on and off the pitch, and his loss will be felt deeply by the Whitecaps FC family. We offer our sincere condolences to the Bassi family, friends, and everyone else who was impacted by his positivity, charisma, and passion.
