Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s midfield man scored the game-winner for Korea on Wednesday, sealing a 1-0 win vs. Japan in the EAFF E-1 Football Championship Final.
He was also named the tournament MVP.
The 23-year-old scored two goals in Korea’s three matches and played the full 90 minutes in each of them.
