Who was your favourite soccer player growing up?

Thierry Henry.

If you weren't a soccer player, what would you be?

I think as a dentist, I have a fascination for teeth.

What or who has had the biggest impact on you or in your life?

My father, he’s done so much for me and he's the reason why I'm here today.

What's your go to spot in Vancouver?

That's actually a tough one. Maybe here a the training centre honestly, this is where I feel at peace.

What's your favourite TV show?

You guys watched You? It's crazy, but it's really good. It'll mess with your head.

What's your most commonly visited website or app?

YouTube. I watch soccer videos, funny videos. YouTube has everything.

What's your guilty pleasure?

There's this chocolate lava cake at Cactus Club. It is unbelievable. And I can't go to Cactus Club anymore because I have to order it if I go.

Has anyone mentioned you have a celebrity look alike?

From my family I get Thierry Henry because I think that they know that it'll just make me happy.

What's the biggest challenge you've gone through in your life or career?

Last season, beginning of the season I didn't come out the way that I wanted to. I didn't start the way I wanted to and I had to work my way back into it, that was my biggest challenge for sure.

What are you most proud of?

Being able to represent my family, every time I put on the Whitecaps jersey or the Canada jersey. I think that's a big thing for me.

What's your most treasured memory? Either life or soccer

Scoring my first goal against Portland, I can’t even remember it but it's my most treasured memory. Every time I see pictures of it, it just makes my heart race almost. It was unbelievable.

What song would you sing at karaoke?

Just a Friend by Mario.

Who do you look up to?

My parents probably because they sacrificed so much for me, but they’re still successful people. And I hope that I can be like them one day.

Tell us something that most people might not know about you.

I have a giant birthmark on my left arm. You can kind of see the difference on my hands. So I have a birthmark that is on my chest, on my back and all the way down my arm and it's basically way darker than my right.
