E-pdate: Skill Shack makes eMLS LS1, Exraa gets his respect, team play continues

What a week for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC FIFA eSports team.

Sunday was a historic day with Exraa taking the Xbox continental crown at the FIFA Global Series North American Qualifier 1 event.

Skill Shack qualifies for eMLS League Series One (LS1)

It was tense, but the Burnaby boy pulled it out!

Sitting in ninth place and needing to break into the top eight on the last day of qualifiers, Skill Shack earned seven of nine points to make it to the live stream finals this coming Saturday, January 16 and Sunday, January 17.

He will be up in the quarterfinals against 2020 eMLS Cup champion AMADOU from New York Red Bulls.

Exraa, don’t forget the name

After winning the North America Qualifier 1 title on Sunday, the messages were flowing in for the champ.

Looking for that Jay DeMerit promotion moment

Can’t stop, won’t stop.

The boys are in action again on Thursday night in qualifying play for the FIFAe Club World Cup.

They are continuing to fight for promotion to the top division. This time they face 19esports – interestingly they have a Canadian, Costa Rican, and Mexican player on their team.
