What’s your hometown (or country) known for?

Guinea-Bissau is a really small country – less two million people. Very nice.        


What’s one thing that reminds you of home?

Music. Like T.I.N.A. (This is New Africa) – traditional music by Fuse ODG.


What do you love most about Vancouver? 

Very nice city, love the environment. Very kind and helpful people.


Who’s one celebrity you’d most like to meet?

Rihanna.


If you had to swap places with a teammate for a day, who would you choose?

Cristian Gutierrez, he’s my guy.


There’s a zombie apocalypse and you can choose three teammates to help you survive it. Who are you picking?

Cavallini because he is strong. Plus Crepeau and Godoy.


If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

Be like Superman and fly.


Describe your dream home.

Regular house but in Guinea-Bissau.


What do you think you will do once your playing days are over?

I want to be an agent, to have an academy in Guinea-Bissau to help young players.


What’s your favourite genre of music?

Everything! All kinds especially T.I.N.A.


What’s your favourite movie?

Colombiana.


Describe your dream vacation.

On an island, peaceful and quiet – enjoying the sun.


What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

To be humble. In life, we have ups and downs and we need to be strong to handle the situation.


When you’re not in your uniform, what do you dress like?

Sport clothes.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

Get ready and make breakfast before coming to play soccer.


Describe the worst haircut you’ve ever had.

My current haircut.


If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Chicken and rice.


What’s the quirkiest thing about you?

They say my laugh is the worst but very contagious.

Depends on my mood!
