Spectator Guide: Must win! Concacaf Champions Cup returns to BC Place

VANCOUVER, BC – Do or die.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC must win in order to advance past Costa Rican side C.S. Cartaginés in the second leg of their Round One series in the Concacaf Champions Cup.

Tickets remain available at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps, with all options at whitecapsfc.com/tickets.

Below is important information for fans attending Wednesday's match.

Water Bottle Policy

  • As per Concacaf policy, please note that outside water bottles are not allowed for this event
  • Cups will be provided at concession stands for use at water-filling stations on the concourse

Format

  • The first leg finished 0-0
  • If Wednesday's match ends 0-0 during regulation, it will go to two 15-minute periods of extra time, followed by a shootout if necessary
  • Any Whitecaps FC victory will see them advance
  • Any victory, or draw of 1-1 or higher, will see C.S. Cartaginés advance
  • The winner will move on face Seattle Sounders FC in the Round of 16. The 'Caps would host the first leg between March 10-12, with the second leg on Wednesday, March 18 at One Spokane Stadium in Spokane, Washington

  • Open at 5:30 p.m. PT
  • Suite entrance opens at 5:00 p.m. PT
  • Please note that new turnstiles will be used at Gates C, E, and G
  • Enter the stadium early to avoid longer wait times

Clear Bags/Bag Check

For the best stadium entry experience, Whitecaps FC and BC Place recommend fans do not bring a bag to the stadium. If you do:

  • Clear plastic smaller than 12”x12”x6”
  • One small opaque bag, but it can’t be larger than 6.5”x 8.5”
  • Bag check is available at Gates C and H (very limited space)
  • Exceptions for diaper bags and medically necessary items
  • All bags will be inspected prior to entry
