Kid Captain

Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Xavier Higginson from Arthritis Society Canada for Saturday's match against FC Dallas.

10-year-old Xavier lives with juvenile idiopathic arthritis. He is an avid soccer player and a camp enthusiast. In the summer, Xavier looks forward to attending the Arthritis Society Canada’s summer camp for children with arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. He is grateful to the Arthritis Society and Vancouver Whitecaps FC for this wonderful opportunity.

Please join in welcoming Xavier to the match!

Arthritis Society Canada at section 225

Arthritis Society Canada is the country’s leading national charity advancing research, advocacy, and support to help people live well with arthritis. They stand with the six million Canadians — from children to seniors — who live every day with the pain and challenges of this disease. Through innovative programs, education, and community partnerships, they're fueling life-changing progress and driving toward a future free from the pain of arthritis.

To make a donation or learn more about their work, please visit arthritis.ca or visit section 225 for more details!

Supporter of the Match

Saturday's Supporter of the Match will be Adeeb Shir from Vancouver Albion.

Adeeb has been supporting the 'Caps for a few years now, and since 2023, he hasn’t missed a regular season home game. His favorite Whitecaps FC memory is either attending the 5-0 playoff win in Portland or witnessing the 2-0 win against Miami in the Concacaf Champions Cup semifinal first leg at BC Place.

His favourite part about being in a supporter group is contributing to the atmosphere, getting together with friends, where everything else in life just disappears and the good times roll in.
