WHITECAPS FC U-23

In their last PDL match, the ‘Caps fell 2-0 in defeat to Oregon rivals Portland Timbers U-23. Despite a strong effort, the Blue and White were unable to come back from conceding an early goal that gave Portland momentum.

The task for the home side will be to rebound from two consecutive losses against the Timbers and Victoria Highlanders. The Blue and White will look to capitalize on a home town advantage following a short one-match trip down south.

NORTH SOUND SEAWOLVES

The SeaWolves are coming off of a 2-2 draw in Victoria on Saturday against Victoria Highlanders FC at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria.

In their first match of the season, the Washington state side fell 2-1 to Portland Timbers on Saturday, May 18, with David Durant scoring the lone goal for the away side.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The ‘Caps hold an all-time record of 2W-4L-1D against the SeaWolves. In their previous clash, the ‘Caps earned an overwhelming 4-0 victory against North Sound on July 6, 2012 at Swangard Stadium.

Current Whitecaps FC U-23 players Cam Hundal and Bobby Jhutty had goals, while James Farenhorst and Gagandeep Dosanjh had assists in the big win.
