Six Vancouver Whitecaps FC Residency players have been named to this week's Canadian U-18 men's national team camp.

Just a few days after being named head coach of Canada’s men’s U-20 team, Rob Gale will get a first look at some of the talent hoping to be in the running for Canada’s attempts to reach the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
In total, 18 players born in 1997 are gathering on the west coast in Ventura, California, from April 3 until Friday, April 11. The camp will also will feature a pair of international friendly matches.
After four days of training, the team will make a bus trip down to Redondo Beach where they’ll play their first friendly against the United States on Tuesday, April 8. They will have a day off before suiting up again against Mexico on Thursday, April 10 and will break camp the next day.
The camp is in preparation for the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship which serves as the qualifier for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. The host of the CONCACAF Championship will be determined at a later date.
