BMO Academy Report: 'Caps go unbeaten versus Timbers

It wasn’t only the MLS squad chopping down the Timbers this weekend, as the Whitecaps FC BMO Academy travelled south to Portland to face their rivals.


U-19

The eldest ‘Caps won 3-0 against the Timbers.


Albert Kang scored first, followed by two goals from Jefferson Alade. Evan Ince earned the clean sheet in net.


With only two losses in 19 matches, the U-19s sit atop the Northwest Division and second overall in the DA standings.

The U-17s played to a 2-2 draw on goals from Eric White and Emiliano Brienza.


In the Northwest Division, the U-17s remain in second place on points per game, narrowly behind the undefeated De Anza Force.

The U-15s won 1-0 on a goal from Yayo Mutombo.


Goalkeeper Harrison Gough kept the clean sheet.


The U-15s have won six of their past eight league matches.
