Tanya Boychuk scores as Canada U-20s advance from Group A

Canada won Group A at the CONCACAF U-20 Women's Championship with a 4-0 win over Haiti on Monday.

Six Whitecaps FC BC REX players started the match, including: Emma Regan, Maya Antoine, Ashley Cathro, Julia Grosso, Jordyn Huitema, and Jayde Riviere. Three more came off the bench in Caitlin ShawTanya Boychuk, and Teni Akindoju.

Shana Flynn recorded a hat-trick, with the opening strike coming off of a low cross from Huitema.

After two more from Flynn, Boychuk rounded out the scoring for the Red and White.

Canada now advances to the semifinals on Friday, where they will face the runners-up of Group B (either Mexico or the United States). Kickoff will be at 3 p.m. PT, available in Canada LIVE via CONCACAF at youtube.com/concacaf. The top three teams from the CONCACAF U-20 Championship will advance to the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France this August.
